General Purpose of Job
Perform general repairs and upkeep of facilities and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains meticulous housekeeping with regard to customer spaces, work areas, vehicles and other company equipment to continually reflect the high standards of the company.
- Perform facilities repairs including electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Does general repairs and maintenance such as painting, patching walls, hanging shelves and installing signs, and proactively identifies the need for improvements during such activities.
- Supervising maintenance help and outside contractors.
- Contributes to continuous improvement projects
- Installing new replacement parts, filters, etc. on HVAC systems
- Remodeling/renovating facilities
- Inspects and repairs building utilities by replacing light bulbs and electronic ballasts, fuses, outlets, switches and other defective parts.
- Executes seasonal grounds maintenance and landscaping duties including snow removal and grounds inspections for trash removal and safe condition.
- Operate forklifts, scissors lift, and snow blower.
