Available Coolant Types

Standard Thru Coolant

Standard Thru Coolant: Coolant will be delivered from the spindle through the knob and will exit through the cutting tool.

AD/B Convertible Coolant with screws

AD/B Convertible Coolant with Screws: Coolant will be delivered from the spindle through the knob and will exit through the cutting tool.

AD/B Convertible Coolant without screws

AD/B Convertible Coolant without screws Coolant will be delivered from the spindle through the flange and will exit through the cutting tool.


GETTING COOLANT TO THE CUTTING TOOL:


Through-Flange

  • Available to the DIN 69871 Form B specification.
  • Available for most sizes, standard or standard modification.

Through-Spindle

  • Through-holes are standard in all Parlec end mill holders. All collet chucks have back-up screws with through-holes.
  • Standard back-up screws are not designed for coolant pressure above 250 PSI, unless used in conjunction with additional coolant sealing system.

AD/B

  • The Convertible style holder can be used as both through the spindle and through the flange coolant.
  • Flange entry coolant is turned on by removing two screws.

Form B Coolant is offered in Standard and Convertible (Form AD/B) styles. The convertible style holder can be used as both through the spindle and through the flange coolant. Flange entry coolant is turned on by removing two screws and can be adapted to through spindle by re-installing two set screws.
