Toolholding Solutions

Parlec’s Toolholding Solutions are manufactured to maintain precision, functionality and durability. CAT, DIN, BT, HSK, NMTB, Chiron and Morse taper holders along with solutions for Balanced and Balanceable Heat Shrink, ER Collet Chucks, Power Milling and Shell Mill holders make up Parlec’s toolholding line.

CAT V-Flange Taper Specifications

  • Meets or exceeds ANSI B5.50- 2009 specifications and all current specification updates except where improvements are made for high speed operation.
  • Taper is toleranced so that any error increases rate of taper only. Refer to Manufacturing Specifications for tolerance specifications.
  • D2 Dimension must be held for a minimum of 1.375” from gageline. This is a safe zone which provides clearance for tool changes. Some machines do not require a safe zone and can use a modified version of this design.
  • Parlec provides tooling in a variety of taper styles including BT, NMTB, ISO 7388 (DIN NOTCH), ISO 7388/1 (DIN 69871/B), and others upon request.
