Parlec Rolls Out Capto® Driven and Static Tooling for Mazak
Rochester, NY, March 30, 2009 – Parlec, Inc., a worldwide leader in tooling, workholding, and presetting solutions, announces the official release of Capto® tooling for Mazak machines. This product is the latest addition to Parlec’s full range of Mazak driven and static tooling.
“We are expanding our product offering for companies that are looking to take their multi-tasking machines to the next level of flexibility and efficiency,” said, Mark Wiktorski, Product Manager of Driven and Static Tooling, at Parlec, Inc. “We will continue to expand our current product offering by adding different types of quick change connections in order to meet the needs of our customers.”
Parlec is offering Capto® C4 driven tools for the Mazak QTN200/250 series machine. 4500 RPM heads are now available in 90º “H” mills, 90º double ended “H” mills and in “V” shift tools for 12 station 12 position turrets. The 90º “H” mills and “V” shift tools are available in coolant-through or with external coolant options and the 90º double ended “H” mill is only available with an external coolant option.
In addition to driven tooling, a full range of Capto® C4 and Capto® C5 static holders have been added as well. Both internal and external forward and reverse holders are now available in these sizes as well as double external forward and reverse holders with coolant-through options.
